This square can be used as a cushion facing or matches perfectly with all of my other squares for you to create a beautiful and unique blanket or throw. Summer in Bloom can also be enlarged to blanket size by using the Continuum blanket pattern for a square blanket, or if you prefer a rectangular shaped blanket then Rectangulation is the one for you.

Yarn Recommendations – Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton or similar Double knitting yarn – 4mm G hook

Total yarn used: 475m/520yds          Finished size: 50 cm/20 inches

Should you choose to use a thicker yarn, and larger hook, your project will of course be larger in size, and you will need more yarn.

I used Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton DK with a 4mm G hook.

2 x Wood
1 x Artichoke
1 x Coral
1 x Peach
1 x Bone

For the video tutorials, I used Stylecraft Cotton Classique DK with a 4mm G hook.

These were colours I had in my stash and though this range is now discontinued the equivalent colours would be:-

2 x Faded Denim
1 x Fondant
1 x Plum
1 x Blossom
1 x Gypsum

Here are some gorgeous examples made by my amazing testing team.

Below each photo, you will find a link to the Ravelry project page which will give you the details of the yarn used.
