Starting with a Mandala at the centre, and two rows of small squares, Rectangulation gradually builds out to form layers of different stitches, giving texture and a flowing theme to this blanket design.
To round 33 you will have a 20-inch square if using Double Knit yarn and a 4 mm G hook, this part of the design can be replaced by any of my large afghan squares or used to make a matching cushion.
Rounds 34 to 88 allows you to grow any of my large afghan squares to a full-size rectangular blanket.
