I am amazed at the beautiful work that has been produced, the stunning single colour blankets, the glorious bright colour combinations and the beautiful soft pastel colours, they truly are all gorgeous.
It makes me so proud as a designer to see my ideas brought to life in glorious technicolour.

For those of you still working on your Sacred Space or even if you haven’t started yet, the pattern will remain free to download from my website, and you will always receive help in my Facebook group, or by emailing me using the contacts page above.

I also know that there are those of you who will want to extend your blanket, either to make it a bigger square or to make it a rectangle. This will be quite easy to do and I have done a special pdf for you to download on how to extend your Sacred Space.

Sacred Space Extension

Tricky bits…

This week you will learn a new stitch, the Knot stitch, it is actually very simple once you get the hang of it and I cover it in the videos, so please do have a look if you get stuck.

♥ Blocking your finished blanket.
Blocking is what can make your finished blanket look like a high quality hand made article.
It can be tricky with large items, but you can use the floor or a bed or even block outside.
You can find lots of advice on blocking HERE.

♥ Final photos.
I know many of you will want to share photos as soon as you are finished, but, please take a little time to block your work and then also take your time to take that final photo.
Make your Sacred Space look amazing, before you share the photos.
Maybe take it on a day trip to your favourite place, the woods, a lake, the coast, your garden, where ever you feel your sacred space is.

♥ Watch out for a special photo competition in the facebook group Helen’s Hookaholics, in a few weeks time.
