Sacred Space Part 8
Welcome to Part 8 of the Sacred Space crochet along.
Only two more parts to go, we are nearly there.
This week you will be working around the whole project, and those rounds get longer and longer, but there are only 8 rounds to complete this week.
We also start to build our padded corners, giving weight and structure to our finished blanket. ♥
♥ Take your time to read the repeats carefully, the rounds of shells are different each time.
♥ There is a stitch that may be new to many of you, but you will soon get to grips with it, it starts in Round 107 and is worked on the corners almost to the last round of your blanket, please use the video if you are unsure.
It is a dc-fptrtog, which means it is 2 stitches worked together the 1st part into the top of the stitch is a partial double crochet and the 2nd part of the stitch is a partial front post treble crochet, these are then joined together.
Colours per round for the yarn packs are in part 1.
♥ Read carefully, there are a few tricky bits that can trip you up.
♥ Special Stitches, these are always explained in each part of the cal, but if you are new to any stitch then watching the video will help. USE STITCH MARKERS to help you.
♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design, and will save having to rip/frog your work.
♥ Make sure you download the correct terminology for you. There are both US and UK pdf’s, in both photo tutorial or written only patterns.
