Sacred Space Part 4
£0.00
Welcome to Part 4 of the Sacred Space crochet along.
Our Sacred Space becomes a circle, circles bring us together in the form of equality, no one is above or below anyone else.
Circles always bring us back to the beginning, and for many of us the traditional Granny stitch is where we started our crochet journey.
.
As we continue on this journey together I am constantly blown away by the beautiful work you are all creating.
Thank you for continually inspiring me. ♥
Tricky bits…
♥ This week you are going to “Get our Granny on” as we produce a beautiful lacy effect between the points, remember the chain 1 spaces, and remember to keep a eye on how many stitches you are skipping.
♥ Take care to work into the correct marked spaces in Round 56 and 62.
♥ Please use the video tutorial to help you through any stitches that are new to you.
♥ Remember the Puff Stitch should be made to the height of a double crochet (US terms).
A Little Reminder
You can find all the information to join in with this crochet along in the Intro Post.
Colours per round for the yarn packs are in part 1.
♥ Read carefully, there are a few tricky bits that can trip you up.
♥ Special Stitches, these are always explained in each part of the cal, but if you are new to any stitch then watching the video will help. USE STITCH MARKERS to help you with the point.
♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design, and will save having to rip/frog your work.
♥ Make sure you download the correct terminology for you. There are both US and UK pdf’s, in both photo tutorial or written only patterns.
♥ Downloads and Links
Once you have downloaded the pdf you will be working from, please read through carefully.
You will find all the special stitches used at the beginning of the document.
If you are following the video tutorials, please always also read the pattern as there is always the chance, I do the correct thing but say the wrong thing!

I’m loving this pattern but I was following the written pattern with photos for this part and it has incorrect stitches. I have to undo 7 rows because it seemed wonky so I checked it against the video and all the sc for the first 7 rows were written as dc as well as all the dc written as tr and I was about to start the 8th row of this part which was written as her and supposed to be hdc… the written pattern without pictures is correct but I like having the pictures so I was using that one and it’s different…. Oops. Still loving it. Just sad I have to frog 7 rows and redo them
Helen –
Unfortunately it seems that you downloaded the UK terms photo tutorial, but you had been working with the US terms previously.
Always remember to check that you are choosing the correct option to download.
In UK terms a dc is a US terms sc. The videos are all in US terms.
