Lilibet

This beautiful placemat and coaster set will add elegance to any table.

Lilibet was designed to honour Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, and is a part of the Stylecraft Blogstars “Garden Party”.

For placemats and coasters, I recommend using a double knit cotton yarn like the gorgeous new Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton, as it is both heat resistant and absorbent.
There are 38 gorgeous shades in this new yarn from Stylecraft and you can read all about it HERE.

Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton is available to purchase at Wool Warehouse.

You will need a 4mm G hook and your chosen colours of yarn.

I used 1 ball of each colour with plenty leftover – Blossom – Bone – Peppermint.
You will need a minimum of 2 x 50g balls for each placemat and coaster set.

I used my spare yarn to make two more coasters as I think they look so pretty on my garden table.
