Humility has nothing to do with meekness or weakness, nor does it mean being self-effacing or submissive.
Humility is an attitude of spiritual modesty that comes from understanding our place in the larger order of things.
It entails not taking our desires, successes, or failings too seriously.
Being able to see ourselves as equal to all others and yet being able to learn from others enables us to show humility and not superiority.
♥ Please love and respect me as a designer, as I love and respect each of you. If you have not read the post, Introducing Virtue, please do. It has all the information on yarn requirements and the details for the 2 official yarn packs, Diligence and Patience, including a colour per round downloadable pdf, and a colouring sheet to help you plan your own colours.
♥ If you would like to support me as a designer and the free patterns I provide you can do so by donating the amount of your choice by using the Donate Now button at the top of the Free Patterns page in your members area.
♥ Take your time, this is a journey, not a race, enjoy every moment of each stitch you create. Remember new skills take time to learn as does learning new stitches.
♥ Read the pattern carefully and familiarise yourself with the abbreviations, all special stitches are listed at the beginning of the pattern and have links to separate US terms video tutorials.
This week we will be making Slanting Clusters and Bead Stitches. I give lots of hints and tips in the videos to help you, but the best tip I can give for bead stitches is to relax, take it slowly and remember to breathe.
♥ Follow the hints, they are there to help you.
♥ Use stitch markers, they are your friend and will keep you on the right path.
♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design and will save having to rip/frog your work. The only frogs we want are the kind that turns into a Prince!
♥ Use the videos to help you if you need to. Video tutorials are in US terms.
♥ Remember you can always ask for help, the best place to do that is in my Facebook group Helen’s Hookaholics. If you do not use Facebook, then please email me using the contact form here on my website.
At the top of the page – click on Access Patterns or sign in if you are a member. This will take you to the Free patterns section.
Click on the picture of the part you want to download.
Choose your option/language.
The pdf will then open for you to download.
You will need to become a member of my website, either free or monthly, as every pattern will be downloaded from the free patterns section in your dashboard, you can come back to it as many times as you like.
