Sweetie Pie Mandala
£2.50 or ( 2 Credits )
I just love Mandalas, whether it is the centre of a blanket, a wall hanging or a garden decoration.
Available to purchase in US or UK terms.
.
They can be simple or complex, made in just one colour or all the colours of the rainbow.
I designed Sweetie Pie for a workshop at the Dutch Knitting Festival in Zwolle, The Netherlands, and now have 5 of them!
They look great hanging in a window, or to brighten up a plain wall.
You can keep them plain or add ribbons, beads, or feathers to them, making them completely your own.
Hang them outside to brighten up your garden.

These are the 2 that Ineke made, you can find all the details on her Ravelry project page.

Though you may not want to keep them outside all the time, for parties or special occasions a pretty mandala can really help to set a fun theme.
You can also go very Bo-Ho chic by adding ribbons.

I used Stylecraft Classique cotton DK, you will need 2 50g balls, and a 4mm G hook. You will also need a 30cm hoop, these are available in many craft stores and online.
Once you have made your Mandala, the hoop will need to be approx 1 inch/2.5cm larger than your unblocked Mandala.
