Splanna is a modern Cornish vocabulary name meaning “brighter.”
It is a derivative of the name Helen, which means light, bright and beautiful.

This beautiful blanket has lots of texture, as you would expect from my designs.

There are two official yarn packs and the pattern has the colour used per round included at the beginning of each round.
But you can, of course, use as many or few colours as you like to personalise your own Splanna blanket, please scroll down to see some amazing examples made by my testing team.
