Mandala Madness Part 12
Mandala Madness Part 12
This week you will be building on part 11, creating a staggered pattern with long single crochet stitches, more looped double trebles, and the addition of some shells.
Lots of back loop stitches this week, so a little reminder about working into the back loop and the 3rd loop to stop “over stretching” of your stitches. To help you please watch this video tutorial Back Loop Stitches.
Also time to create some more Perfect Picots this week!
I know some of you have found the way I make picots to be much easier and neater, especially when you need to make a stitch into the picot, if you haven’t seen the post then check it out HERE.
There is also a hint at the end of this week for how to fix the point section from part 10. You can leave it just as it is or if you want to fix it down then just follow the instructions at the end of this week’s instructions.
Remember stitch markers are your friend!
Check each repeat, count, count, count and there should be no sign of froggies this week!!
♥ If you haven’t read the introduction post, then please find it here. You will find all the information on Yarn Packs, how much yarn you will need, hook sizes, the finished size of your blanket and all the resources available.
