Whether you are new to this amazing craft that is crochet or you have been crocheting for years, things are always moving, changing and evolving, just as the shape of your sacred space is now changing.

Tricky bits…

♥ This week you are going to need your stitch markers again and remember to count, count, count.

♥ Take your time to line things up correctly before you start Round 80.

Shall I share a little secret?
The reason my prototype has not been included in any of the posts so far is because it was not until I was way past this point that I realised that my centre was wonky, so take the time and get everything straight, I do cover this in the video to make it very easy to achieve a perfectly aligned centre.

♥ If you have never worked separate corners before I do suggest using the video to help you.

♥ There are lots of ends to work away this week, but please follow the instructions and leave them until you have completed Round 90, and DO NOT work away the ends for Round 90 until you have completed part 7.

♥ For those of you using colour change yarns like the whirl cakes, I suggest making each round on all 4 corners, before you move on to the next round, this will ensure your corners are all the same colours… see the beautiful test by Becky lower down as she is using a whirl for one of hers and the corners look amazing.

♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design, and will save having to rip/frog your work.

♥ Make sure you download the correct terminology for you. There are both US and UK pdf’s, in both photo tutorial or written only patterns.
