Welcome to part 2 of our Crochet A Long Winnie’s Wonder.
For those of you that use Facebook, there are hundreds of gorgeous photos of Part 1 that our group members have made.
If you use Facebook or Instagram just use #WinniesWondercal or @WinniesWonderCAL so that others can also find your work.
You may have noticed a post I made in the group about the issue some people have had with the centre square of Winnies Wonder twisting.
I believe this is caused by working either the single crochet in Round 12 too tightly, or by working the chain spaces in Round 16 too tightly.
There is a very quick fix, if this has happened to your work below.
If you are just finding the Crochet a Long, you will find all the information you need to join our CAL (Crochet a Long) on the Introducing Winnie’s Wonder page.
Please remember to ask if you need help, but also please appreciate the time and effort that has gone into creating this project for you all, so read everything carefully, and be patient with us while we try to answer all your questions.
To straighten the centre of your work please block carefully.
Place your work on a flat surface and pin at the corners of R11.
If you have used acrylic yarn use a hairdryer, if you have used cotton use steam… gently heat your yarn and press with your hands… leave it to cool/dry completely before unpinning and everything should be good moving forward.

Helpful hints and tips.
♥ Take your time, this is a journey, not a race, enjoy every moment of each stitch you create. Remember new skills take time to learn.
♥ Read the pattern carefully and familiarise yourself with the abbreviations, all special stitches are listed at the beginning of the pattern and have links to separate US terms video tutorials.
♥ Follow the hints, they are there to help you, especially when instructed to keep your chains the same size as the top loops of your normal stitches.
♥ Use stitch markers, they are your friend and will keep you on the right path.
♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design and will save having to rip/frog your work.
The only frogs we want are the kind that turns into a Prince!
♥ Use the videos to help you if you need to. Although the stitches in this part seem simple, there are lots of hints and tips in the videos to help you to improve your skills.
Video tutorials are in US terms.
