Stitch Directory is a directory of the stitches used in my designs.

This handy pdf has a full written description of all of the stitches included in my patterns, with links to video tutorials where available.

Rather than moving back and forth to the beginning of a pattern to look for the special stitch directions, you can keep it as a separate document for quick and easy reference.

Written using US terminology but including a UK terms conversion chart.

The directory starts with a conversion chart for those of you used to working in UK terms, and a list of common abbreviations I use in my patterns.

Basic Crochet Stitches

Listed first are all the basic, commonly used crochet stitches, with a full description of how to create the stitches.

Then some links to videos for techniques you will use in every project – standing stitches – magic ring – invisible join – working away ends.

Clusters and Working Stitches Together

Clusters and working stitches together are covered in full and cover 3 pages of this directory.

These are some of the most commonly used stitches in modern crochet.

Other Special Stitches

The final 2 pages of the directory cover all the other special stitches from bobble and bead stitches to V-stitches.

Some of the stitches you will have come across in other patterns, but some are unique to my designs, like a puff stitch 2 together or chunky puff stitches.

There are some stitches that you will not find in this directory as they are described in detail in the specific rounds in a pattern, star stitch is just one example, and puff clusters is another. To me, these stitches often need more specific instructions and that is why they are given in detail in the pattern.

Please remember all of my patterns are covered by copyright law and may not be copied or shared in any way. You may share a link to my website or Ravelry store with anyone, you may print the PDF for your own use, but please do not alter, change or share in any way.

Please love and respect me, as I love and respect you.
