Octagonical Part 7

The penultimate part of our crochet along.

The weeks seem to have whizzed past and I am seeing so many beautiful blankets starting to take shape.

This week you will be building shells along each side as the beginning of the border of your Octagonical.

Please read all the helpful hints and tips below.

Handy Hints

♥ Please use the video tutorials to help with any stitches that are new to you.

♥ There are lots of handy hints and tips in the video tutorials.

♥ There are lots of special stitches this week, make sure you count, count, count, and take your time with the special stitch shell sections.

♥ Please pay close attention to round 91 as this is the foundation for the rest of your blanket.

♥ Round 95 – picots – please use my “Perfect Picot” technique to ensure your picots sit perfectly in Round 96.

♥ Please use stitch markers when instructed to do so.

♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design and will save having to undo/redo your work.

♥ Make sure you download the correct terminology for you. There are both US and UK pdf’s, in both photo tutorial or written only patterns.
