Marinus means of the sea.
Water in all its forms inspires me and gives me a feeling of great freedom and power.
Like the sea, parts of this blanket form a repeated pattern, yet there is always something changing
Plus if you are a more visual person or a beginner to crochet there are also video tutorials in US terms that take you through step by step, with lots of handy hints and tips for working the special stitches.
You will notice the Stylecraft Special DK version uses more of the Blush colour that the Stylecraft Cotton Bamboo version. You can also see the size difference with using the different yarns and hook sizes.
You will find the colours per round pdf in the Yarn Pack section below.
For Double Knit yarn with a 4mm G hook you will need a total of approx. 4000 to 5000 meters / 4200 to 5500 yards of yarn depending on the number of colours you use.
Should you wish to use an Aran/ Worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm H hook you will need approx. 25% more yarn.
