This beautifully textured blanket is worked in the round and will look beautiful in any colour pallet.
Plus if you are a more visual person or a beginner to crochet there are also video tutorials in US terms that take you through step by step, with lots of handy hints and tips for working the special stitches.

For Double Knit yarn with a 4mm G hook you will need a total of approx. 4130 meters / 4508 yards of yarn depending on the number of colours you use.
Should you wish to use an Aran/ Worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm H hook you will need approx. 25% more yarn.
The pdf tells you to stop at Round 52 for baby size and gives an alternative Round 53 to complete the border.
For baby size you need approx. 1535 meters/ 1675 yards Double knitting yarn.
Finished size: Baby blanket with double knitting yarn and a 4mm G hook your size will be approx. 36 inches / 92 cm.
