Octagonical Part 6
This week the shape of our octagon becomes more defined and your work should be completely flat when laid flat and smoothed with your hands.
I just wanted to say well done to all of you and share some of my favourite photos from the hundreds that have been posted in the Facebook group Helen’s Hookaholics.
Some are just started, some are up to date, some of you are making more than one, some are already wanting to be used, and some are the perfect snuggle place for pets.
Please read all the helpful hints and tips below.
Handy Hints
♥ Please use the video tutorials to help with any stitches that are new to you.
♥ There are lots of handy hints and tips in the video tutorials.
♥ This week we have lots of special stitches, make sure you skip the correct number of stitches.
♥ Remember to keep chains the same size as the top loops of normal stitches.
♥ Please use and leave stitch markers in place when instructed to do so.

♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design and will save having to undo/redo your work.
♥ Make sure you download the correct terminology for you. There are both US and UK pdf’s, in both photo tutorial or written only patterns.
