Octagonical Part 4
As our rounds get larger they will take longer, remember this is not a race.
To me, it is more important to take your time and create perfect stitches with even tension, slow down and count carefully and everything will work out beautifully.
Please read all the helpful hints and tips below.
Handy Hints
♥ This week we will be making lots and lots of puff stitches and popcorns, as well as some beautiful daisies.
♥ Please take your time, this is not a race, it is much more important to create neat stitches and a beautifully finished piece.
♥ Please use the video tutorials to help with any stitches that are new to you.
♥ There are lots of handy hints and tips in the video tutorials.
♥ Working into the V of a single crochet is covered at 4:20 minutes into the video.
♥ Making the daisies is covered at 18:34 minutes into the video.
♥ This week there are also lots of standard stitches, which you can wiz through, BUT make sure you count, count, count, and take your time with the special stitch rounds.
♥ Please use stitch markers when instructed to do so.

♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design and will save having to undo/redo your work.
♥ Make sure you download the correct terminology for you. There are both US and UK pdf’s, in both photo tutorial or written only patterns.
