This was the last blanket I was designing when I lost my furry friend Mr J.
This beautifully textured blanket is worked in the round and will look beautiful in any colour pallet.
Plus if you are a more visual person or a beginner to crochet there are also video tutorials in US terms that take you through step by step, with lots of handy hints and tips for working the special stitches.
You will find the colours per round pdf in the Yarn Pack section below.
For Double Knit yarn with a 4mm G hook you will need a total of approx. 5310 meters / 5796 yards of yarn depending on the number of colours you use.
Should you wish to use an Aran/ Worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm H hook you will need approx. 25% more yarn.
J J Slumbers can be made as a baby blanket or a full size blanket.
The pdf tells you to stop at Round 47 for baby size.
For baby size you need approx. 1408 meters/ 1536 yards Double knitting yarn. with a 4mm G hook.
Finished size: Baby blanket with double knitting yarn and a 4mm G hook your size will be approx. 35 inches / 89 cm.
Naturals cotton/bamboo and a 3.5mm hook your size will be approx. 30 inches/76 cm
