♥ Welcome to Part 7 of the Sacred Space crochet along.♥
This week we continue to build on our corners, and you will finally work around the whole piece again.
We will be building bridges from one group of stitches to another, just as we can build bridges in life.
We are all connected, we are all one. ♥
♥ This week you are going to need your stitch markers again and remember to count, count, count.
♥ Take your time to read the repeats carefully, there are a lot of words, and some of the repeats call for different numbers of skipped stitches in each mini repeat.
♥ There are lots of ends to work away again this week, but please follow the instructions and leave them until you have completed Round 98, from Round 98 you will be working around the entire piece again.
♥ Do not try to block your work as we finish this week with a round of shells and you do not want to stretch them.
♥ I know many of you have been saying that you have trouble with stretched or baggy top loops with your longer stitches, so I have done an extra little video to help you, with a couple of ideas for you to try.
How to avoid loose top loops on longer stitches.
Sacred Balance colour pack
Colours per round for the yarn packs are in part 1.
♥ Read carefully, there are a few tricky bits that can trip you up.
♥ Special Stitches, these are always explained in each part of the cal, but if you are new to any stitch then watching the video will help. USE STITCH MARKERS to help you.
♥ Check your stitch count after every repeat, it is essential to the shape of this design, and will save having to rip/frog your work.
♥ Make sure you download the correct terminology for you. There are both US and UK pdf’s, in both photo tutorial or written only patterns.
♥ Downloads and Links
Once you have downloaded the pdf you will be working from, please read through carefully.
You will find all the special stitches used at the beginning of the document.
If you are following the video tutorials, please always also read the pattern as there is always the chance, I do the correct thing but say the wrong thing or the other way around!
