Ripples on the Shore is a new 12 inch afghan square.
This simple design was inspired by the beach very near to my new home in Cornwall.
Available as a free pattern in US or UK terms.

♥ Watching gentle waves lapping on the shore at the edge of the ocean,
a time for quiet contemplation to allow space and time to just breathe.
♥ We all need time for peace in our busy lives, and I hope this design reminds you of the peace that can be found on a quite beach.
I am thrilled to have been asked to design a 12 inch square for the fabulous “Block-a-Month” Crochet A-long 2018 on Ravelry…or BAMCAL as it is affectionately called.

Ripples on the Shore is the main 12 inch square for November, so you are nearly there.
I used:
12 inch square
Stylecraft Special Aran in Camel, Aster and Cloud Blue. 5.5mm hook.
10 inch square
Stylecraft Special Double Knitting, Camel, Aster and Cloud Blue. 4mm hook.
All Stylecraft yarns are available from Love Knitting and Woolwarehouse.

Here is Ineke’s square with white as the main colour with shades of blue and teal.
Lesley used aqua for her main colour with peach and deep rose.
